What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

In order to provide an accurate quote for your wedding day, the most important things for me to know first is your date to see if I'm available, your chosen venue so that I can see where you're planning to celebrate your day, and the length of photography coverage that you require! Once I have those key bits, I can help you choose the package that suits your day best and roll on with the plans for your photos! It can also help to pop your budget down somewhere so that you don't receive quotes that are outside of your ideal expenditure.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I highly recommend taking the time to view each supplier's portfolio (including checking out their website if they have one) to make sure that you absolutely LOVE their work, as you'll be looking back at these memories for the rest of your lives! Every wedding is different of course, but carefully looking through a photographer's portfolio is the best way to ensure that you'll love your photos when you receive them. It can also be nice to arrange a chat over video call to see if our personalities match up, as we'll be spending such an important day together and I think that having someone you can be comfortable and have a laugh with on the day is super valuable.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I absolutely love being creative while also getting to chat to people and create beautiful images for them! I found my passion for photography all the way back in school and since then I've pursued it through college, university and now my career. I really couldn't imagine doing anything else, and being able to share my creative vision with others is the best feeling. Weddings are SO special and can be absolute magic, and I love so much being able to join in with what is such an incredible day. I get to travel all over and meet so many wonderful people and I'm super grateful to have the best job ever!

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I've met the loveliest of couples on here! A recent wedding that I booked through Add to Event was at what has become one of my favourite venues, Exmouth Country Lodge, and I just could not get enough of the colour of the buildings there! I had so much fun with the couple and all of their loved ones, and even though it was a super rainy day, we managed to make the best of it and get some absolutely fabulous photos together. I really hope I can pop back to Exmouth Country Lodge soon for another wedding as it was a real treat and I was lucky to connect with the couple through here.
