What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

First and foremost, we require the event date, as we can't quote without it, as we may not be available. A description of the services you require helps us to target the quote to your needs, for example, do you need photography and videography, drone coverage, an Album and so on. Finally the details of your venue, and we can let you know what experience of your chosen venue we may have.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

One thing I love about wedding photography and videography is that you get to spend time with couples on some of the best days of their lives. This is a massive privilege and responsibility. We take this very seriously and will move heaven and earth to ensure we don't let people down. Ask your photographer/videographer if they are insured, and just as important, try to meet them in advance. You'll spend a lot of time with them on your wedding day. It's important everyone gets on!

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

We started the business due to my life long love of photography. I've worked in the photography field for a large part of my life and worked as a press photographer for a Press Agency. We get a special kind of buzz creating special images and footage that we know will be treasured for a long time by the couples we photograph for. Sean's personal areas of interest are candid photography and B&W. He can spend hours editing a single image after the wedding if it tugs at his B&W heart :)

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We are quite new to Add to Event, and we are very impressed as to how simple the platform is. Unlike other similar platforms, Add to Event does not take advantage of suppliers... they seem very fair to us. We haven't shot a wedding we have booked on Add to Event yet, but we have taken a number of bookings now, and we hope to get many more into the future!
