What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

I need to know the venue, time and approx number of guests. I need to know if their time is approximate or subject to change. I also need to know if they are looking for wider entertainment such as face painting, kids entertainment, food, DJ service etc.
It's helpful to know what type of music the client is looking for and if announcements need to be made.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look for a versatile entertainer with lots of good reviews! I would also speak to the provider about previous events and also ask for their suggestions on how the event should be scheduled. Check insurance and DBS certificates too.

The business grew from providing just face painting to full packages and DJ / entertainment services. With a background in performance, it means we can provide a range of entertainment packages to suit all events.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I have had a few bookings from Add to Event, it's been a great platform to get my business out and about further than a 20-mile radius. I like that the clients give you some of the basic information so you don't need to ask all of the basic questions - you have that information to hand and it makes it easier to communicate with the client.
